Getting to Hengrave
Use the drop-down menus to explore travel options.
There are multiple entrances to Hengrave Hall, so whether you’re in a taxi or driving yourself, please do not follow your sat-nav as it will likely take you to the staff/barn entrances. You need the Guest Entrance off Mere Lane. The church and main hall are side-by-side so there’s no travelling between ceremony and reception venues.

Hengrave Hall is 3 miles outside of Bury St Edmunds. Once off the A14, do not follow your Sat-Nav to Hengrave Hall as you will be directed to the staff entrance. We recommend using the postcode IP28 6LA instead, which will get you as far as the Three Kings pub (point 3 below).
Directions from the A14:
Turning off at Junction 42, at the roundabout join the B1106 towards Fornham All Saints.
Before entering the Marham Park housing development, take the left turn to Fornham All Saints village.
When you reach the double roundabout take the first exit and the Three Kings pub will be on your left. Approximately 100 yards after the Three Kings pub, you will see signs to the guest entrance via Mere Lane.
Turn left onto Mere Lane and then take the first right towards Hengrave Farm. Follow this road until you see the Hengrave Hall main entrance on your right.
Directions from the A1101 from Norfolk/ Barton Mills roundabout:
Turning off the Barton Mills roundabout, follow the A1101 through Icklingham and Flempton, all the way to Hengrave.
Once you reach Hengrave, you will see signs for the hall but please ignore these entrances as they only give access to the barn and staff entrances. Instead, carry on through Hengrave, back into the 50mph zone and on towards Fornham All Saints.
Just after the Fornham All Saints sign, you’ll come into a 30mph zone. The turning for Mere Lane will be directly on your right, before the row of white thatched cottages. You should see the sign for the ‘Hengrave Hall Guest entrance’.
Turn right onto Mere Lane and then take the first right towards Hengrave Farm. Follow this road until you see the Hengrave Hall main entrance on your right.
Parking on-site:
Hengrave Hall offers extensive parking. You will be greeted on arrival and directed to the main car park.
